Mohamed Salah Issues Statement to Liverpool Dressing Room, Discloses Curtis Jones
Curtis Jones has revealed that Salah said sorry to the group of players after the controversy from his televised remarks.
The Incident
Salah was left out from a European match subsequent to making accusations and claiming his rapport with Arne Slot had soured.
“Salah is an individual and he can say his own stuff,” Jones revealed. “He said sorry to the group and was like: ‘If my words hurt anyone, I apologise.’”
Arne Slot has previously declined to comment publicly on whether he was apologised to from the veteran striker.

The player stated that the squad's reaction remained positive. “Nothing about him changed, he had a big smile on his face and it was business as usual,” Jones added.
The midfielder also implied that a competitor wanting to play is preferable. “I understand there are specific approaches you can go about things,” he said. “However, if a player is content to just not start, then I think that’s concerning.”

The team's performance have been impressive in the period after the situation. The player is convinced the forward's comments were never meant to cause disruption.
“In moments of frustration, it has consistently come from a place of caring,” the midfielder stated. “It's behind us and we’re uniting strongly, getting results and starting to win games.”
