One 60-day voyage through the Australian Coast was terminated in the wake of the tragic passing of an elderly female passenger who was abandoned by the ship on a isolated coastal location.

The passenger had been hiking on the tropical location with fellow passengers from the vessel, but broke off from the group for a pause. The ship sailed away leaving her and came back several hours later after the ship staff discovered the passenger was not present.

A major search operation discovered her remains the next day.
